When I first began exploring the internal structures of stones under magnification, my mouth quite literally fell open. I was in awe of the exquisite, intricate worlds I'd stumbled upon—and more fascinating still was the realization that I was looking back upon millions of years of geological history.
It's humbling to think about, because rocks remind us that in the grand scheme of things, we have far more in common than we realize. These photographs are my way of exploring that connection—where science, time, and beauty quietly intersect within the often-overlooked objects beneath our feet.
