Title:
Newborn Moon
About the Photo:
“Newborn Moon” captures a rare transitional moment during a lunar eclipse, where the moon appears to rise as if newly formed from the clouds below. A glowing mist reflects the light like a cradle, while a faint wisp of haze reaches upward, suggesting creation rather than disappearance. This fragile illusion inspired the title. By reducing the scene to one celestial body, one subtle cloud, and one luminous atmosphere, the image balances the drama of the eclipse with a sense of calm. The copper-red shadow meets pale silver light, evoking the tension between beginnings and endings, warmth and cold, presence and absence.
