Title:
The Forgotten History
About the Photos:
The series focuses on the historical windows captured in a very famous tourist site - the 120-year-old Concubine Lane - in my country, Malaysia. The concept of cracked, burnt windows conveys the idea that the traditional values of famous places are wearing off, and it is saddening to see their history being gradually forgotten as modernization transpires. The Concubine Lanes are the most famous lanes in Ipoh town. Many tourists fancy this place, and this place is full of such historical windows. How good it is if we can remember those histories that have made these places beautiful, isn’t it?
