Traces of Faith
The initial idea was to chronicle life in Orthodox monasteries in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia. The impossibility of direct contact with these communities, except at the Tchule Monastery, prompted me to change course: I decided to focus on the signs of faith and their visual presence.
The limited interaction and photography restrictions led me to seek other ways to narrate the sacred: light, architectural details, incense smoke, intimate atmospheres. A work born from the unexpected, which found strength precisely in adaptation.
